Coming home after work, Ken nearly collides with a broad-shouldered man barreling out through the entrance door. The man glances back — 「ああ、悪(わる)い」— and heads off down the street without breaking stride. Ken watches him go. That must be my neighbour. He turns to enter, and notices a laminated notice pinned to the board just inside the door.
